One of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, CoinBase, announced Wednesday it had been experiencing some delays in buys and sells of Bitcoin.  Scroll down for more...

“A recurring issue with one of our processes is causing Bitcoin buys and sells to become temporarily unavailable. Our team is investigating and working to restore full service as soon as possible.

Coinbase customers may experience intermittent outages of BTC buys and sells over the duration as we resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Coinbase also allows for the buying and selling of Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.  There do not appear to be any issues with either of those three at the time of this publication.

By 1 pm EST the exchange said it believed they resolved the issues and were working on clearing any backlogs.
