“For us, it is trying to be different and innovation is key for NetEnt. We have a vision that we are driving the iGaming market,” NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson told CalvinAyre.com. “Therefore, you need to push yourself all the time and never be pleased with what you have delivered. You need to think one year ahead all the time and push yourself.”

The inspiration this year is from the public's fascination with premium television shows, hence, NetEnt's release of a new slot brand called Narcos.  That show is one of the highest rated on NetFlix.

“Right now, as you know, it is not just movies anymore. It is TV series. They have more viewers than normal movies. We went into that space [TV series] this year and the first brand that we revealed was Narcos, the highest ranked series on Netflix. So, we’re proud to be able to announce that,” the NetEnt CEO said. “And for me, coming from Scandinavia, this [Vikings] brand is special. There are 37 million people watching it in 60 different countries.”

Some of the greater innovations in the world of online gambling involve the live dealer casino, which, very much like mobile, got off to a sluggish start but have since become mainstays of Web casinos.

NetEnt is a major provider of live dealer casino platforms.

Their Live Mobile Standard Blackjack, introduced late last year, immerses players into the heart of the casino environment – from the palm of their hand.

Henrik Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer at NetEnt, said: “We are now extending our mobile live casino portfolio and are very excited with the results. Our mission is to develop the player’s favorite mobile live casino, together with our customers.

“Our team has designed the game based on insights from real players, their needs and demands. Players can now enjoy this game like ever before and we’re sure that with our custom-built and optimised features, Mobile Standard Blackjack will be a successful addition to our customer’s live casino offerings with unique opportunities to strengthen every customer’s exclusive brand.”

The company also provides table games to acclaimed operators like LiveCasino.com #2 ranked online casino brand Unibet. Established in 1997, Unibet is one of the oldest Netent Casinos.

From NetEntCasinos.com:

Even before the real emergence of the live casino games started, Unibet has been a leader in offering these games. It didn’t take this gambling operator very long to realise live casino games are the future. Just as most live casinos, Unibet is offering the most popular table games Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat, but also popular card games such as Casino Hold’em and 3 Card Poker have been added. Unlike most live casinos, Unibet has split this section in two parts, Casino Grande and Royale. You can contact the dealer through the live chat, no matter what live casino game you’re playing.
