PayPal Crackdown Hurts LeoVegas Bottom Line

(November 11, 2019) - After PayPal stopped accepting online casino payments in Germany, gambling operator LeoVegas is expecting a 20% to 30% dip in its local revenue.  LeoVegas completed necessary chances in order to comply last month.

One of the most prominent online gambling firms in Germany, the company suggests it will lose anywhere from €1 million to €1.5 million per month as a result of the action.

Gustaf Hagman, President and Chief Executive of LeoVegas, reported that his firm was going strong elsewhere, registering a double-digit increased in operating profit and sales.
