Tiger Woods Early Odds to Win 2018 Masters at 8-1
Tiger Woods is back and should he win the 2018 Masters the payout would be $800 for every $100 bet or $80 for every $10 bet.
His recent strong 2nd place showing at the Valspar Championship should ensure the 2018 Masters will be among the most watched and wagered on with so many folks rooting for the underdog.
Woods set or tied 27 Masters records in 1997 and had performed quite well at this event over the years, winning four. Back and elbow injuries, along with personal misfortune led to a sharp decline in Tiger's play over the past five years.
This week, a more confident Woods already announced he be playing beyond the Masters to compete in this summer's Washington-area foundation tournament.
Woods, who hasn't played in that event since 2015, said Monday this has always been a special one for him. The tournament has no sponsor this time and will be called the National. It was most recently the Quicken Loans National, won last year by Kyle Stanley.
Woods' tournament has moved around since it began. This year it is at TPC Potomac in Potomac, Maryland, June 25-July 1.
