Bookie vs. Bettor: Game 6 NBA Playoff Game Between Thunder and Jazz

Our last play was on the Thunder-Jazz series with Utah failing to cover the 4-point spread for us.  That one we pulled the trigger on with recreational books in particular encouraging action on OKC and losing.

Today we are seeing the Jazz getting the most lopsided action of the three games being played Friday evening, though the volume was not as heavy as the other two (likely due to the fact that those games are on earlier).

Action was 82% on Utah.

This one has moved from Utah -5.5 to -6.5 so books are definitely reacting here in an effort to get more money on Oklahoma City.

The NBA Betting Power Ratings indicate a line of just -2.5 should be posted here.  These large overlays and underlays, which in this situation would favor Oklahoma City, are not very reliable and, more often than not, go the opposite way of what would be expected.

We are going to pass on a play tonight as the other two games were getting fairly even action.
