Two individuals have been arrested for the April 30 shooting of poker player Tom ‘3BetPanda’ Steinback outside an Austin, Texas area "Card House" off Highway 183.

Forty-one-year-old Jermaine Patrick Spirlark  and, 24-year-old Charles Clines-Martinez were taken into custody Monday.

The young poker player was shot in the back as he and a friend were leaving the poker room at around 4am as the club was closing.  His injuries were at first believed to be life-threatening but his condition was upgraded to stable the next day.

Spirlack has been named by police as the shooter in the robbery, “with the assistance of Mr Martinez”.  Various departments worked on the case including Austin P.D. departments, San Antonio P.D.  SWAT teams, the US Marshall Service, and the Unites States Secret Service among others.

Police are working on the assumption that this was an inside job with working that evening and passing information onto Spirlark that the poker players were leaving with money.

The story drew national attention after poker pro and hedge fund manager Bill Perkins offered a $10,000 reward for information leading up to the arrests of the suspects.
