Major League Baseball Top Exposures June 13 - Cleveland Indians
The Cleveland Indians were high priced at -183 but seeing nearly all the action on the money line against the Chicago White Sox, on the road no less.
Chicago won last night but Cleveland has beaten them in eight of the last ten meetings. In fact, the Indians are 16-5 in the last 21 meetings.
PITCHING MATCHUP: Indians RH Trevor Bauer (5-4, 2.62 ERA) vs. White Sox RH Dylan Covey (2-1, 2.22)
Bauer limited Detroit to one run on seven hits and one walk while reaching double figures in strikeouts (12) for the third straight outing last time out and is 6-2 with a 3.55 ERA against Chicago in his career.
Covey has not permitted an earned run in his last two starts after giving up five runs - two earned - over 4 1/3 innings at Cleveland on May 28. The 26-year-old Californian has allowed one unearned run on seven hits and four walks with 14 strikeouts across 11 frames in his last two outings.
Today Covey is due for a bad outing we believe and the Indians are the better team here and this is especially true if the trends hold up for Chicago.
The White Sox are 1-7 in their last 8 after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game.
