Real Madrid Odds Post Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid confirmed the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, for a fee of around €105m (£92.8m/USD $123m).  But their odds of winning upcoming Championships are still short.

Winning the Spanish La Liga Primera featured short odds of 6/5, with Barcelona the 4/7 favorite.

Real Madrid was at 6/1 odds of winning the next Champions League.  Only Manchester City, Barcelona and Ronaldo's new team Juventus had shorter odds.

CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce are the only clubs with odds shorter than Real Madrid to win the next EuroLeague Championship.

Madrid issued this statement on Tuesday afternoon, though Ronaldo's exit was among the worst kept secrets: 'Today Real Madrid wishes to express its thanks to a player who has shown himself to be the best in the world, and has marked one of the most brilliant eras in the history of our club, and world football."
