2009 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Joe Cada was among the last standing (or in this case, sitting) Wednesday night as the final table is about to be determined.
By winning the 6,494-entrant Main Event at the age of 21, Cada surpassed Peter Eastgate as the youngest champion ever.
To date, Cada’s live winnings total nearly $10,500,000 and that number will jump over $11 million following the Main Event.
The Michigan player was left for dead after Tuesday's play, holding among the lowest chip count, but was trying to move up the ranks Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday's play will conclude once the final nine have been determined.
The winner of this year's Main Event will receive $8.8 million.
