Eagles Week 1 Line Versus Falcons Now Down to -1

Across the board, most books were listing the Philadelphia Eagles as a mere -1 point favorite versus the Atlanta Falcons as of Wednesday evening.

The Eagles will be without some key players, these include starting quarterback Carson Wentz.  And while Nick Foles helped guide the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory back in February, his play during the preseason was quite erratic.

LB Nigel Bradham is suspended. WRs Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins are out. DT Timmy Jernigan is out with a back injury and Brandon Graham is out with an ankle injury.

Sure this is going to be a good Falcons team coming into Philadelphia but bettors need to know that the Eagles have won 15 of their last 18 games at home outright.

They are also 12-4 Against The Spread in their last 16 games while the Falcons are 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 overall.
