While the FanDuel website can be accessed from outside the Garden State, bets can only be placed online within New Jersey's borders. Internationallly licensed websites are still accessible from all U.S. states.

The Federal ban on sports betting enshrined within Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act 1992 (“PASPA”) was repealed by the Supreme Court of the United States on May 14, 2018, and as a result lifted restrictions on an individual state’s ability to offer sports betting. Each state does have its own laws, however, and these must be amended.
