Two More Casinos to Offer Sports Betting in West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Associated Press) — The parent company of two West Virginia casinos says they will launch sports betting this fall.

Delaware North says in a news release it has chosen Miomni Gaming to handle sports books at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling and Mardi Gras Casino in Nitro.

Hollywood Casino in Charles Town started offering sports betting last month.

On Wednesday the state Lottery Commission approved final sports betting rules. The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports the commission rejected proposed "integrity fees" that had would have given some pro sports leagues 1 percent of the total amount wagered on their games.
