Beto Bets Starting to Roll in as 2018 Texas Senate Race Betting Draws Closer

While there hasn't been a huge shift, Democrat Beto O'Rourke has seen his odds get cut a bit overnight for a win in the Texas Senate against inumbant Republican Senator Ted Cruz.

Beto had been at +370 while Cruz was up at -50.  Senator Cruz' numbers have actually shifted a bit more dramatically in the wrong direction as Bookmaker reports brisk wagering Monday morning.

Texas is among the most high profile races in the US with more folks having been thus far than in the entire 2014 Midterms.

Both candidates are claiming record turnout. 

Beto O’Rourke is behind by 6.5 percent in the latest RealClearPolitics average of all polls in the race for junior U.S. Senator from Texas, but some polls have drawn closer.

Early voting in Texas exceeded total turnout in the 2014 election according to information from the Secretary of State’s office.
