Mayweather vs Tenshin Nasukawa Fight Odds Released

BetOnline on Monday evening released odds on Floyd Mayweather vs. Tenshin Nasukawa.

Dave Mason of BetOnline says this fight will likely see significant action.

Over the past two years, fight events have become the most trafficked here at Gambling911.com with the Mayweather-Conor McGregor match last year shattering all previous traffic records (G911 was in the top 100 of all sites on the Net this day).  Last month's McGregor-Khabib Nurmagomedov fight delivered more traffic to G911 than either the Super Bowl or Kentucky Derby and was the most wagered on UFC match in that oragnization's history.

Mayweather vs. Tenshin will take place on December 31 with Mayweather -150 Tenshin Nasukawa +110.

While this will be a heavily bet on event in the US, it won't be as expensive to watch when compared with past Mayweather featured bouts.  This is due to the airing time.

From BoxingScene.com:

Multiple sources have informed BoxingScene.com that Mayweather-Nasukawa won’t be distributed as the main event of a major pay-per-view show in the United States. The Mayweather-Nasukawa fight will take place late on a Monday night in Saitama, Japan, near Tokyo, which is 14 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time and 17 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time.

A pay-per-view boxing event on a Monday morning in the United States isn’t saleable, certainly not at the price points of Mayweather’s Showtime Pay-Per-View appearances in recent years ($75-$100 in HD).

It will also take place the morning after New Year's in the States.  Those on the East Coast may be motivated enough to get up and head to some open bars, assuming Mayweather-Masukawa takes place some time after 10 am.

Bets can be placed via one's mobile device while celebrating at your New Year's Eve party.

This fight will be courtesy of the Rizin Fighting Federation, a Japanese promotional company founded in 2015 that puts on MMA and kickboxing events.
