Yesterday, Gambling911.com gave the Carolina Panthers a 70% chance of covering the spread against New Orleans based on the action/reaction.

The action was 65% or greater bets coming in on the Saints.  The reaction from the bookmakers was to move the line to -6 and encourage even more wagers on New Orleans.  Ultimately the Panthers managed to cover that spread with a three-point loss, but bookmakers throughout North America and beyond were surely sweating this one out.

Today's top bet is UAB, which was coming in with a line of -2.5.  Bookmaker had brought this one down to -1.5.

While this may appear to be a strong opinion favoring UAB, we'd exercise a bit of caution.  The action is only skewed around 58% in the Blazers favor on average.

The Lakers were seeing 67% of the action versus the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday night as a -2.5 road dog.  This one opened at -2 so books are certainly following the action early on.
