Fantasy owners and bettors alike are pulling their hairs out over the LeGarrette Blount "punch" during Thursday night's game in Boise State, followed by his season long suspension. The suspension will include any possible bowl game, the university of Oregon said.

After punching the Broncos' Byron Hout, Blount then hit a teammate, tried to fight some Boise fans and was restrained by teammates and security officers.

The Ducks were seen coming into this game as a viable opponent for Boise State with most of the betting public siding with Oregon.

Fantasy owners were especially affected by Blount's actions.

From College Football Talk:
As a junior college transfer last year, Blount shared time with Jeremiah Johnson, but still produced prolific numbers. Prior to this season, with Johnson's eligibility expired, Blount became a surefire first-round pick and assumed a cornerstone role on a team in every fantasy league in the nation. Last night, he was used as a starter in 98 percent of the leagues housed by Athlon Sports.

Blount generated a whopping 3.30 points for owners using Athlon Sports. He got most of that for a two-point conversion run and the rest for receiving stats. Perhaps it should have been worse. It would make perfect sense to have a couple points deducted for getting caught four yards deep in the end zone for a Boise State safety. They need to add that aspect into the program.
