Lawmakers in Tennessee have shown little interest in allowing online gambling sites to operate from within the state.  The most recent focus has been on sports betting, though no serious inroads have been made here.

Under current law, it is illegal to operate an online poker business in Tennessee but it is legal to play at regulated offshore sites.

There are no live poker rooms located in the state at this time.
