Thursday Night Football kicks off the much anticipated 2009 NFL betting season and, as one might expect, the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting most of the action in their game against the Tennessee Titans.

Word to the wise:  The betting public was around 90 percent dead wrong last weekend with their College Football picks.

75 percent of the betting public is on the Steelers heading into Thursday.  The line was Pittsburgh -6 at Bookmaker.com.

The Steelers/Titans game had become the most bet on by Thursday morning, beating out the evening's College Football card, Clemson vs. Georgia Tech, in which Gtech was getting the most betting action as the -5 home favorite.

USC had been getting more bets than any other football team (NFL or College) througout much of the week despite their game against Ohio State going off late Saturday.  USC was a -6 ½ road favorite.

Notre Dame is yet another favorite bet of the week.
