Both the Terps and Huskers sit around the .500 mark Against The Spread but Maryland is 17-6 Straight Up. They've lost their composure in recent games, going 1-3 Straight Up since January 21.
The Baltimore Sun noted that the strength of the Big Ten might have helped keep Maryland ranked in this week’s poll released Monday. One of five Big Ten teams to be ranked, the Terps dropped three spots to No. 24 going into Wednesday’s game at Nebraska.
Maryland has faced Nebraska seven times since 2015, winning five of those games.
The betting public hasn't given up hope on the Terrapins just yet as they were seeing better than 85% of the spread action versus Nebraska by mid-afternoon.
Sagarin though had Nebraska ranked higher than Maryland as of Wednesday and indicated a line that should be Cornhuskers -3, pretty much right on the money.
