How to become a winner at blackjack

Blackjack is a classic banking game, also known as Twenty-One. The origin of the game dates back to the 17th century which makes it one of the oldest known games in the world. Today you’ll find blackjack at practically every online casino, both classic blackjack and variations that have sprung from the original rules of the game.

One of many benefits of blackjack is that it’s considered to be one of the easiest games to beat. Do you want to know how? Then continue reading! We will present 3 blackjack tips that will increase your chances of winning.

1. Know when to hit or stay

If you are dealt a soft hand that total 17 (which means it compromise a pair of aces) then you should split the aces and draw more cards. If you happen to have a hard hand of 17 (i.e. no aces) then you should stay no matter what. You don’t want to bust and lose the game!

2. Find out the betting limit

It’s important to know the minimum and maximum bets possible when playing blackjack. It’s also useful to learn how to make the best use of split and double down. There are a lot of information online so we advice you to learn the rules before getting started.

3. Never take insurance

In case you’re not familiar with insurance bet: Insurance is a side bet that gives you the chance to win back some of your bet if the dealer gets blackjack. When making this side bet, you have to give up half your wager as the insurance. If the dealer has blackjack, you will win 2-1 on your insurance wager. If the dealer doesn’t have blackjack, the insurance bet it lost.

We advice you to NOT take insurance as it is to the casinos advantage. The odds of the dealer having blackjack is only 30%.
