Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts odds had the Colts as fairly small favorites of -6 ½ all things considered since they are hosting a questionable Jaguars team.   This line was available at BetUS.com which is important to point out since a few of the books had the line at Colts -7.  There was pretty even action on this game with Indianapolis getting close to 65 percent and the money line action was even.  Jacksonville would pay out around $250 for every $100 bet on the money line if they were to win outright.

Peyton Manning completed 29 of 34 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns as the Colts scored 17 unanswered fourth-quarter points in a 31-24 win over the Jaguars in Week 16 of the 2008 season.

The Colts have won three of the last four meetings and own a commanding 12-4 overall series lead.

The Jaguars could improve dramatically this season now that the offensive line is healthy once again and this is certainly a factor playing into the current "under a touch down" Colts line.  The Jaguars are listed at even odds to win just 8 games in the 2009 season however.

The visiting team has gone 6-4 in this series.  Indianapolis has gone 7-3.  The Colts have only won by more than a touchdown in this series once in the past six games and they've only done it twice in the last ten games.  It should be noted that Indianapolis has won by a touchdown in four of the last ten (so we won't see the line going beyond -7).

Some important Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts odds trends to consider here:

The Jaguars are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 vs. AFC.

The are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games in Week 1.

The Colts are 14-6-1 ATS in their last 21 games in September.

This is a tough call because the Jaguars could play this one close and a win by Indianapolis is most likely going to be by a touchdown.  It is indeed enticing to take that -6 ½ line under these circumstances

Gamblng911.com is confident in the Colts here winning by at least a touchdownGo with the -6 ½ line but this would be a small play.
