What The Line Should Be

The line on this game should be Louisville -3.5, so there is a bit of an overlay.

About These Teams

Louisville - This is a team that beat North Carolina on the road and number two seed Michigan State.

ESPN points out: “Louisville has some thoroughbreds but lacks the elite-level shooting guards that most ACC teams possess. And this team was out-toughed at times this season, particularly during a late-season rough patch.”

While they get a lot of buckets, the team lacks size.

That being said, this is a Louisville team that has overachieved throughout much of the season.  Maybe not the last ten games though.  They only covered the spread in four of their last ten.  The Cardinals only won three of those ten games outright.  OUCH!

Minnesota - This team beat the Big Ten co-champion with Michigan State, Purdue, twice in a 10-day stretch.

The Gophers have been up and down throughout the season, which is why they were on the bubble late.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
