How Do I Access the Draftkings Sportsbook Site From My State?

You can access the Draftkings.com website from every U.S. state but will only be able to place bets while in New Jersey for the time being.  Residents of most states can still bet sports online from licensed offshore books.

Individuals can join the Draftkings site, access their accounts and request payouts from any state.

Draftkings is only licensed to take mobile or online wagers from within New Jersey at this time.  That means you can place bets while visiting New Jersey, and of course if you live there.  You do not have to be a resident of that state.

There are some important exceptions.

You must be 21 years or older.

You will not be able to bet on New Jersey college teams or any college game being hosted within the state.

You can bet on professional sports franchises that are based in New Jersey.  Yes, both the New York Giants and Jets are based in the Garden State.
