Pointsbet Incorporates Facial Recognition to NJ Sports Betting App

Pointsbet has become the first New Jersey-licensed sportsbook app to incorporate facial Identification or ID.

The newly implemented technology looks to end the tedious task of having to log back into one's account every few minutes.  Current security protocol requires sports betting apps in the state to log out automatically as to prevent unauthorized usage, especially by minors.

Once you update the Poinsbet app and then sign in, you will be prompted to use either a PIN number or Face ID. If you select yes to both of these options, you can use for future logins.

Be careful though to write down that PIN as we can tell you from experience, the iPhone X facial recognition only works half the time.  Maybe Poinsbet will be different.
