Roadster Kentucky Derby Payout Odds

Roadster will pay out $80 for every $10 bet with a 2019 Kentucky Derby win.

Roadster is coming off a win in the Santa Anita.  He'll be starting from the dreaded 17 post position, which has yet to produce a winner (the only post position that has not) in 40 tries.

"Somebody's got to be first," is the ringing headline from the Courier Journal.

"I think I have the right horse. Sooner or later, someone is gonna win from that post," Jockey Florent Geroux said.

Roadster is one of three horses trained by Bob Baffert.

"He rides very relaxed for me," Baffert said. "A lot of guys, I can use riders and sometimes they feel a little intimidated. They think they have to be on the lead, or they ride differently when they ride for me. ... I'm going to trust whatever he does (on Roadster). He's a smart guy, and he's funny. He's a lot of fun to be with. That's what I love about him."
