Shoemaker is currently on the 10-day DL.
Cashner was able to pile up the strikeouts against the White Sox, but outside of that, it was an ineffective start for the right-hander. The 32-year-old was excellent in his previous outing -- also against the White Sox -- going seven innings and allowing just one run. This was nowhere close to that effort. In six starts, he now owns a 4.71 ERA and 28/15 K/BB ratio. Cashner is scheduled to start against the Red Sox on Monday, and is not a good streaming option for that outing whatsoever.

Gonzalez drove through the first inning unscathed and then the wheels fell off in the second. He yielded four hits and three walks in the frame. One of the walks came with the bases loaded. Left fielder Domingo Santana made a crucial error that opened the floodgates. This was the first bad start of the season for Gonzalez, who had been on a roll prior to today's debacle. He falls to 5-1 with a 3.28 ERA and 1.33 WHIP after eight starts. He will get a chance to right the ship against the Yankees next week. Source: RotoWorld
