Michigan's Beilein to Coach Cavaliers: Odds Update

Futures odds for both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Michigan Wolverines should see a shift on news that University of Michigan coach John Beilein has agreed to a five-year contract to become the Cleveland Cavaliers' coach.

BetOnline oddsmakers Dave Mason tweeted out immediately following Monday morning’s news:

His book had Michigan with the 5th shortest odds of winning the 2020 Men's College Basketball Championship at 12/1 following the news.

NBA 2020 futures are not currently available.

On Monday, the school and Beilein acknowledged he is leaving Michigan without saying where he is going. Beilein offered his thanks in a tweet.
