Does Disney Really Own Stake in Draftkings?

One small part of the massive deal between the Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox included the stake in daily fantasy sports and sports betting company DraftKings, Legal Sports Report confirmed on Monday.

That ownership is a little bit murky.

A spokesperson for Draftkings tells LSR that one of the Disney "subsidiaries" has the ownership.

Disney offloaded Fox Sports regional sports networks after the 21st Century Fox deal.  Those went to Sinclair Broadcasting, a company that intends to use them to get their own foothold in the lucrative sports betting space.
