Last week, CalvinAyre.com's Becky Liggero spoke with attendees at the Malta AI and Blockchain Summit to get their take on blockchain's impact on iGaming, and vice versa, as well as the need for regulation. 

Ian Gauchi, advisor to the Government of Malta on Blockchain, noted that the failure rate among Initial Coin Offerings (ICO's) has been extremely high.

Carla Maree Vella of Consultxd opined that iGaming is among the "leading sectors in the space in terms of monatization and exemplication of blockchain".

More than 5000 delegates attended the event.
