Trump Remains Favorite in 2020; Odds Point to Grisham as Next Press Secretary

As President Trump officially launches his re-election defense today (June 18, 2019), we thought it might be a good time to brief the current 2020 Election odds.

SportsBetting.ag, a cyber-gaming site, has updated its Presidential Election odds, and Donald Trump remains the favorite.

However, Trump is the even-money favorite because of the exorbitant amount of Democratic candidates on the odds board. Trump, Mike Pence and John Kasich are the only Republicans on the list so the bookie's "hold percentage" has to be divvied up between the Democratic mass.

This is reflected in the party odds here: https://www.sportsbetting.ag/sportsbook/futures-and-props/politics-props

These odds show that the Democratic Party is a -125 or 4/5 favorite to win the 2020 Election while the Republican Party is a +105 underdog.

Here are the updated election odds from SportsBetting.ag, and notable odds changes since June 5:

- Buttigieg has gone from 14/1 to 12/1
- Warren has gone from 25/1 to 14/1
- O'Rourke has gone from 25/1 to 33/1
- Pence has gone from 50/1 to 80/1
- Cuomo has gone from 150/1 to 80/1

2020 Presidential Election Odds

Donald Trump  1/1
Joe Biden  7/2
Bernie Sanders  8/1
Pete Buttigieg  12/1
Elizabeth Warren  14/1
Kamala Harris  14/1
Andrew Yang  16/1
Beto O'Rourke  33/1
Tulsi Gabbard  50/1
Amy Klobuchar  66/1
Mike Pence  80/1
Cory Booker  80/1

Nikki Haley  100/1
Julian Castro  100/1

Additionally, the site points to Stephanie Grisham as the favorite to become the next Press Secretary of the United States.

Steve Cortes and Tony Savegh also have less than 5/1 odds while Chris Christie and Anthony Scaramucci are the "longshots" of the group.

Next White House Press Secretary Odds
