Fortnite World Cup Becomes Our Most Trafficked eSports Event to Date
We're not going to lie. eSports betting coverage has not delivered the way we would like it to in light of the fact that all the books consider professional gaming right up there with the second coming of Christ. Just look at their respective websites how eSports gets its own link and special page.
That all changed this weekend as a surge of traffic from around the globe finally found our eSports betting coverage, and more specifically the Fortnite World Cup. A sign of great things to come we hope.

Well Duh, the Chiefs Are Favored to Win the AFC West...But Chargers May Be Better
The Chargers pay $15 for every $10 or $150 for every $100 bet to win the AFC West, and they are certainly a team on our radar.
There is reason to think it is possible.
Yahoo Sports notes that, defensively, the Chargers have two of the league’s best pass rushers in Joey Bosa and Ingram. Their cornerback duo of Casey Hayward and Desmond King is among the best in the NFL. And the Chargers hit a grand slam last year in the draft, taking safety Derwin James with the 17th pick. James made All-Pro as a rookie and his future looks limitless.
While there are flaws, Yahoo Sports suggests the Chargers have one of the best rosters in the NFL from top to bottom, including Phillip Rivers, who is turning 38.
Really the only thing that could be standing in the way of a Chargers championship is the Melvin Gordon saga. The running back wants a new contract or he will hold out. Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson reported that the situation could get messy.
After speaking to a handful of sources, #Chargers’ stance is dug in with Melvin Gordon. Barring a change in his camp’s expectations, an extension isn’t coming soon. His threat to potentially hold out will be put to the test. The extension straddling the next CBA isn’t helping.

Over the last three seasons, Gordon has made the Pro Bowl twice, he has 4,372 yards from scrimmage and 38 touchdowns. The team already believes they have the pieces in place to fill the void, but one cannot simply ignore Gordon’s stellar performance in recent years.
Then again, the whole Gordon situation could be rubbing other teammates the wrong way. It may end up being a blessing in disguise to send him packing. Who knows? We do know the Chargers will be a good team with or without Gordon.
Who takes the AFC West this year?

How to Sell Your Home if You Live Next Store to a Mobster
The next door neighbour of a notorious Hamilton, Ontario crime family says she suspects she can't sell her 16-room home because of her high-profile neighbours.
But she — and realtors — insist the neighbourhood's safe.
Well, Karen Montesanto, 75, moved into her home on St. Clair Boulevard next to mobster Pasquale (Pat) Musitano five years ago. She’s had to drop the price down from $990,000 to $150,000. We think that is in Canadian dollars too.
So what makes this particular block so dangerous, you might be asking yourself?
In September 2015, an SUV was set ablaze in Musitano's driveway. In June 2017, his home was sprayed with bullets weeks after his brother, Angelo, was fatally shot in the driveway of his Waterdown home.
On Monday, St. Clair Boulevard was the site of a head-on collision in which a 76-year-old man, who police say is a friend of the Musitano family, was injured.
If you happen to be in the hunt of a true bargain, look no further than St. Clair Boulevard in Hamilton. They say lightning rarely strikes twice....oh well.
Italian Mobster Caught on Wiretap Saying He Wanted Reporter Killed With Mallet
The New York Post recently ran a story of a reputed Italian mobster expressing his desire to have a La Repubblica journalist dead, and he wanted it done in the most gruesome fashion imaginable, outside of being fed to pigs.
“I would have given him two hits with a mallet … what a blast,” Benedetto Gabriele Militello allegedly fumed.
His words were caught via wiretap.
Militello was secretly recorded by cops in Palermo, Sicily, last year discussing how he would have handled La Repubblica journalist Salvo Palazzolo, the newspaper said.
“How much can he do to me? What can they do? … Two hits of a mallet,” Militello allegedly said.
Of course we are reminded of the assassination of a reporter in Malta.
That story was featured in a segment of the most recent season of 60 Minutes.
Daphne Caruana Galizia revelations cut a little too close to the heart of the Italian Mafia power structure.
