Poker icon and, more importantly, friend of Gambling911.com, Doyle Brunson had dropped out of the top 10 at the 2009 World Series of Poker Europe by late afternoon, though he was far from out.  Brunson was still among the top 30 chip leaders.  He had lost a good 3700 at the time this article was going to press.  We've pulled out all the stops to bestow good luck upon Doyle, including Fido the Cheerleading pooch.  If he doesn't get back into the thick of things, we may have to resort to bringing out Cake Girl.  Regular readers of Gambling911.com know who we're referring to.

Daniel Negreanu, who performed well at last year's WSOPE event, had climbed the chip leader chart to the 19th position.

A number of unfamiliar names led the pack but one of the better known players, Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott, had moved into the top 10 positions.  Ulliott has won over $5 million in career live poker tournaments.

Here were your chip leaders at 4 pm London Time with the numbers representing chip count followed by recent change in chip count (up or down).
