Elite Sportsbook is located just seven minutes away from Grand Falls.

An online gambling service from Grand Falls Casino went live Friday, and the casino floor is set to add an in-house sportsbook this weekend, the Argus Leader noted.

Those from South Dakota will be able to place bets from their mobile devices with the Grand Falls sportsbook once in the state of Iowa.  They must register on-site however.

“I think people will really like the ease of that site,” said Sharon Haselhoff, general manager for Grand Falls.

The mobile sportsbook is operated by relative newcomer Bet.Works, a Las Vegas-based firm offering mobile and web-based sports gambling tools.

Iowa lawmakers legalized sports betting earlier this year.
