Gamblers in UK Can Now Block Themselves With One Click?

Long-delayed self-exclusion scheme cannot become a licence condition until “necessary assurances” received , EGR reports on Tuesday.

The UKGC said GamStop was still working to provide the “necessary assurances” to trigger the requirement for all operators to become members.

Various outlets have been declaring GamStop's ability to prevent folks from gambling with a single click, otherwise defined as "self-inclusion".

All gambling companies will be told to sign up to Gamstop, developed by the trade body for online casinos and bookmakers, as a condition of their licence to operate in the UK, the Guardian reported as recently as Sunday.
