Buttigieg Surges in Latest Iowa Poll - Current Odds

South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg was coming in at 18% in the most recent New York Times Siena Poll of likely Iowa voters.  The state will be the first in the nation to feature a Democratic Caucus.

Of particular note, Buttigieg was ahead of one time front runner and former US Vice President Joe Biden (17%).

Only 5 points separated the four leading candidates.  Senator Elizabeth Warren was coming in at 22% while Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders was a point ahead of Buttigieg at 19%.

Buttigieg getting the Democratic nomination still pays $800 for every $100 bet.
