PointBet Details Colorado Sports Betting Launch

Australian wagering firm PointsBet was quick to set up an office in Downtown Denver and this week outlined plans to launch sports betting some time this coming spring (2020).

Residents narrowly voted to allow sports betting in the state last week.

The Colorado Division of Gaming is now in the process of establishing rules and regulations for the Colorado sports betting market, and PointsBet has said it will work with the regulator to help launch sports betting.

They will be joining forces with Double Eagle Hotel and Casino in Cripple Creek to offer both a retail sportsbook and mobile site.

The on-site venue is expected to include a sports bar, a multi-screen video and odds display wall, viewing parties for major sporting events and extra casino gaming options.

PointsBet currently operates in New Jersey and Iowa.
