NJ to Begin Offering Live Dealer Online Casinos
The state of New Jersey is preparing to launch its first live dealer online casino.

The Studio is located at the erstwhile Trump Taj Mahal casino, a property it showed off in a recent YouTube video. Its security is being handled by the Hard Rock Security Department. The DGE said that it would inspect the property before deciding if it should be used for gaming activity.
Live dealer online table games are a very popular form of gambling in Europe, but they haven’t caught on in the US yet. The games entered the American market in mid-2016 when the New Jersey iGaming sector was only three years old. The pioneer of live gaming in the state was Golden Nugget, which partnered with Ezugi, a software provider, to create new offerings. Evolution bought their business in November 2018. The DGE doesn’t provide public data about revenue earned by live dealer online table games, which makes it difficult to judge the growth in this industry.
