MyBookie.ag is a popular online sports betting site but, while legal in Florida, it is not currently among the Gambling911.com Endorsed Sportsbooks.  BetUS Sportsbook, in business since 1994, is endorsed by Gambling911.com and you can open your betting account with $200 and receive a FREE $250 on top of that.  You will also find additional promos and countless player and game prop building options.

Florida recently all but quashed any efforts to stop the Florida Seminoles from moving forward with what is essentially a sports betting monopoly in the state.

Hard Rock Bet is now blasting commercials about no longer having to "bet in your head".  Betting is now legal in Florida, the ad proclaims.  It's a catchy tune indeed.

Lawyers for a group of gambling companies called "West Flagler Associates" filed their final brief in early January.  They were trying to prevent the Seminoles from continuing to offer sports gambling in the state, at least on mobile devices. At the very least, West Flagler would like to join Hard Rock Bet.

West Flagler is asking the Florida Supreme Court to rule that the current sports gambling compact with the Seminoles violates the state constitution.

Though voters were granted the right to have the final say in terms of any further gambling expansion in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis lawyers say Amendment Three doesn't apply to this case because online sports gambling is not casino gambling.

West Flagler argues that voters have the sole power to "authorize casino gambling in the state through another constitutional amendment."

Critics accuse Governor DeSantis of circumventing the constitution.

There is a greater chance that mobile sports betting could be viewed as a form of gambling expansion requiring voter approval.  Offering the activity at existing casinos might not be viewed as "expansion" per se.

Sites like BetUS and MyBookie take bets from Florida residents and those visiting as these companies operate outside the U.S. but in North America.
