The state of New Jersey will by fining gambling companies to the tune of $150,000.

The state Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) recently released its bimonthly regulatory decisions. It fined numerous establishments for lax policies and irresponsible operations.

Scientific Games received the largest fine, a $100k penalty.  It allegedly ran three unapproved versions of three games from January to March of this year prior to conducting an audit.  That audit revealed an issue with the games in question.

It had already been slapped with $10,000 in fines for multiple improprieties.

William Hill must pay a fine of $26,500 for taking action on 16 gamblers who opted for self-exclusion and wished not to wager any further.  It must also return over $5000 of funds the individuals gambled with.

Cloud-based platform Gig Core was also fined for permitting self-excluded gamblers to open accounts on their platform and start betting.

The DGE imposed a $5k penalty on PokerStars as the company lost poker hand history data for two hours.

Software supplier GAN will pay $1k for failing to ensure the adequate performance of websites.
