Iowa vs. Wisconsin College Football odds had the Badgers as -2 ½ home favorites at SBG Global.  A few of the books moved the line to -3.  This one opened with Iowa a -1 point favorite on the road.  Iowa was getting around 80 percent of the betting action on the money line to win outright and around 60/40 action on the spread.

Some important things to watch for in this game before placing your bets:

Iowa QB Rickey Stanzi has difficulty seeing the entire field when dropping back to throw.  The Badgers are well equipped to exploit this vulnerability.

Iowa is having a tough time protecting their quarterback.  They lack athleticism.

Iowa will need to focus on the ground attack.  If not, they could be in trouble.

Wisconsin QB Scott Tolzien had his worst performance of the season last week, completing 27 of 45 throws with 2 interceptions.  Iowa, however, has struggled with a consistent pass rush and this could afford Tolzien a means of finding redemption after last week's lackluster performance.

One thing to watch for is Iowa's hangover after their big win against Michigan last weekend.  It should be noted that overall they are 5-2 ATS after a Straight Up win, though that is against all types of teams.

Over the last 7 games in this series, Wisconsin has won 5.  Iowa beat Wisconsin handily last year at home as a -5 ½ favorite.  Wisconsin had won the two previous games in this series.

Some important Iowa vs. Wisconsin College Football odds trends to consider before betting on this game include:

The Hawkeyes are 7-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

They are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog.

The Badgers are 5-0 in their last 5 games as a favorite of -3 or less.
