The woman “received 20 stitches inside the wound and 10 stitches outside the wound”.  A male bystander who attempted to intervene was also slashed across the face.

The incident was one of a series of horrifying occurrences at Vegas casinos detailed by PokerTube over this past month.

At the Venetian Hotel and Casino an alleged rapist has been arrested with the help of facial recognition technology.

27-year old Donovan Daray Fox confessed to police that he was the man who raped a woman after finding her hotel room key card in an envelope on the casino floor.

The victim, in town with her husband and friends, decided to retire to her hotel room early and alone.  She awoke to find Fox raping her.

Fox is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on one count each of sex assault, burglary and open and gross lewdness.
