Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has tied with former Vice President Joe Biden in a most recent North Carolina poll, a state that will vote in this week's Super Tuesday.
The NBC News/Marist has Sanders getting support from 26 percent of likely Democratic primary voters, while Biden gets 24 percent — well within the poll’s margin of error. The state will award 110 delegates.
The sportsbooks feel confident Joe Biden will win at -350 odds compared to Bernie Sanders at +200.
In addition to a statement win in South Carolina Saturday night, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced Sunday evening he will be suspending his campaign. Many pundits believe this could help boost Biden further.
