A New York Yankees sweep in the 2009 World Series would pay out a whopping $700 for every $100 bet at Sports Interaction.  SIA is one of the online sportsbooks offering the option of Series Correct Score betting.

"This offering will pay out handsomely to some lucky gamblers," explained Payton O'Brien of Gambling911.com.

The minimum that would be paid out (and the favorite correct series score outcome) would be $350 should the Yankees win the series 4-1 or 4-2.  All Series Correct Score betting can be found by clicking on the Sports Interaction website here and looking under their Baseball link on the left hand side of their home page.

A Philadelphia sweep in the series would pay $2000 for every $100 bet.

You can also bet as little as $10 for a win of $35 if the Yankees should go 4-1 or 4-2.

The return of the New York Yankees to the World Series and the Philadelphia Phillies' attempt to become baseball's repeat champions may lead to a record increase in ratings for Fox, according to Bloomberg News.

"We also anticipate and have noticed heavier betting activity," says Ms. O'Brien.
