With the Covid-16 pandemic shutting down most sporting events, a number of horse races are being run without spectators. This includes the Orchid Stakes, a Grade II event run at Florida’s Gulfstream Park. Since 2016 it has been run at 1 3/8th miles. Live betting odds for the 2020 Orchid Stakes can be found here.

This year's Orchid Stakes is likely to attract more bettors than a typical year due to the lack of sporting events currently available, at least that is what bookmakers are counting on.
Favorite Mean Mary has won each of her two starts during the Gulfstream Championship Meet for trainer Graham Motion and could be some easy money.
The four-year-old daughter of Scat Daddy was listed at just shy of 2-1 odds for a payout potential of $17.50 on every $10 bet. Oddsmakers have Cap de Creus and Gentle Ruler listed with the next shortest odds of +450 for a payout potential of $45 on every $10 bet.
Jockey Luis Saez will ride her from the post six position.
