Poker pros Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle have been eliminated from this season's The Amazing Race.

"We know in our hearts that we've really, really given -- not just on this challenge -- but on every challenge, our all. And that's all we can do," said the 25-year old Ho.

"Tiffany's been my hero this entire race. I see her as completely invincible, but I have to remember that at the end of day we can only do so much."

The duo quit the race during Sunday night's Netherland's leg.

"I was in tears by the end," Michelle admitted on her Twitter page Sunday.

Gambling911.com's own Jenny Woo sat down with Maria Ho at the start of the season to discuss how she and Tiffany made the cut.

"Tiffany and I had wanted to be on it probably for almost a year ago or a little bit more," said Ho.  "We actually had our manager find out what the casting process was like, contact them and see how we would go about applying for the show.  It had turned out that they had already finished casting for last season.  So we kind of just put it off on the back burner and we said that this was definitely something we still wanted to do.  Later on, a couple of months after that, it turned out that they were casting again for the next season.  Tiffany and I jumped on that and we definitely just went through the casting process like everybody else and some how we ended up on the show.

"This whole idea to be on this show specifically originated with Tiffany and I.  We had been approached with a few other ideas in terms of reality television and people that were interested in having us for different kinds of shows.  We always thought it would be an interesting way to put our selves out there but we wanted to make sure it was the right format.  Once we came up with the idea - The Amazing Race - it seemed like a complete no brainer because this is a competitive environment; one that we would want to be in and use to but at the same time it's a very pure form of competition.  It's not like some other reality shows where you get voted off by other people or it turns into this popularity contest."
