The coronavirus pandemic has forced most sports to shut down worldwide.  This year's Men's College Basketball Tournament was cancelled as a result.

Ohio State is among the schools allowing voluntary workouts beginning June 8.

SEC athletic directors are expected to meet with health experts on Thursday and then give a recommendation to university presidents and chancellors about whether they should begin a phased reopening or extend the moratorium on in-person, on-campus workouts.

The promotion expects its next card to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on May 30, with a welterweight fight between former champion Tyron Woodley against Gilbert Burns headlining the show.

UFC president Dana White confirmed plans to the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Wednesday, saying “we are a go on the 30th.”
