NFL Star Cody Latimer Threatened to “Kill Everybody” at Poker Home Game

Washington Redskins wide receiver Cody Latimer is accused of "threatening to kill everyone" at a home poker game after it was alleged an individual in attendance had committed a sexual assault on his 4-year-old son.  The incident occurred Friday night and just days after two other NFL players were accused in an armed robbery at a poker game.

Police were called to a ‘possible shots fired’ situation around midnight and arrested Latimer, booking him in on the charges listed below:

Assault in the 2nd Degree

Menacing Behaviour

Illegal Discharge of a Firearm

Prohibited Use of a Weapon

Reckless Endangerment

Latimer was reportedly thrown out of a poker game hosted by his friend Robert English.  He later returned to the home with a gun and allegedly fired off two shots before a brawl ensued.

Police are investigating the sexual assault claims.

Latimer was released on $25,000 bond and will next appear in court July 24.

Meanwhile, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar has formally plead Not Guilty to armed robbery at a poker game last week.

His attorney, Michael Grieco, says Dunbar was never at the poker game in question.

“If, according to the accusers, our client Quinton Dunbar lost a bunch of money earlier in the week at some gambling party (suggesting he had motive)..why did the organizer text Dunbar about not knowing about the prior party and what went down? Answer: because he wasn’t there. So, did the ‘victims’ accuse the wrong guy of robbery or did they fabricate this motive just like they did the whole rest of the case? Good thing I can account for Quinton’s whereabouts all 3 days prior to the alleged robbery for good measure.”

Grieco included a screenshot of a text from organizer, which said: “You missed some good money yesterday bro dolphin players Dre baker even beat him we beat him out of 10k on the game and then it’s was shooting dice bout another 60k out there”.

New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker was also charged.
