Trump Rally Sees Joe Biden's Odds Improve

Dave Mason of BetOnline shared with Forbes.com that the site saw over 80% of all bets placed Saturday evening come in on the election, much of them during and immediately following US President Donald Trump's controversial rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“Shortly after the event begin, the clear lack of supporters present sent shockwaves through media outlets and social media, which triggered bettors to pounce on Trump’s opponent.”

86% if those bets came in on the former Vice President and likely Democrat nominee Joe Biden.

The Tulsa rally did not fill the BOK Center as was widely advertised ahead of the event.  Cameras panned the arena, revealing thousands of empty seats.

From Forbes:

Over recent weeks, Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden has overtaken Trump in both the polls and on the odds boards. Sportsbooks also suggest that the chances of the Democratic party taking control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate have moved to -120, making it the most likely result as well.

Biden’s recent surge mimics the one we saw following his Super Tuesday victory, which acted as an adrenaline shot to a campaign that looked dead in the water.

Following a poor performance both the Nevada and Iowa caucuses, Biden was offered at +700 (bet $100 to win $700) prior to the final Democratic debate. The Super Tuesday sweep made him the -350 favorite overnight (bet $350 to win $100), putting the proverbial nail in the Sanders campaign’s coffin.
