It has been a long time tradition to list starting pitchers and count bets as "no action" should another pitcher start in his place.

Jim Barnes of the Las Vegas Journal Review explains:

If a pitching change occurs before a game starts, all bets will stand at the price at which they were made. The rule applies to everything — money lines, run lines, totals and first-five-inning wagers.

A hearing is set for Aug. 5 in Franklin County, Ohio, where a judge will rule whether former Colts quarterback Art Schlichter, 60, has properly completed the sentences he received in 2012 for what federal authorities dubbed a "million-dollar sports ticket scheme."

Schlichter's defense attorney said his client suffers from health problems and deserves to be released. Prosecutors say Schlichter has not paid back his victims and as recently as three months ago was disciplined for gambling in prison.
