BetOnline Fandemic: Eddie George Talks Sports Without Fans
Former NFL player Eddie George talked sports without fans as part of a virtual panel appearing on the BetOnline-sponsored Fandemic. The show was taped ahead of the start of this year's abbreviated Major League Baseball season Thursday July 23 as well as the reboots of both the NBA and NHL next week. It's a great time to let everyone know that BetOnline is offering a true dime line up to -199 and a welcome bonus with a maximum of $1000.
Home field advantage has mostly been taken out of the equation for the next few months, though teams like the NFL's Atlanta Falcons say they will allow spectators at reduced capacity.
George admits fan response is something the players feed off of.
"When we became the Titans, we didn't lose a home game for ten years because the fans were so loud," the former Titans running back said. "Teams hated to come in there."
Before he was a Titan, George played at one of the most legendary American venues, Ohio State University.
"You need the energy to feed off of. You need to fans to support you when you are down, you're trying to forge through adversity."
